Sex And Intimacy

We were never meant to be alone.  In fact, we crave intimacy and fear isolation.  However, many sexual relationships are entered into because of the wrong idea that intimacy can only be achieved by having sex.  But true intimacy is not just physical but emotional, spiritual and psychological as well.

Sex may be a release for sexual tension and momentarily exhilarating but the act alone will never fulfill a person’s need for true intimacy.  Intimacy is achieved when we bear our souls to each other.

Sex is designed to be the crowning act of intimacy when a couple builds their relationship on the foundation of soul sharing and togetherness.
