Many people are surprised to hear that Muslims do not (or at least, should not) date. When they hear this, they will conclude that Muslims have arranged marriages—a picture of two people who are meeting for the first time, complete strangers, on their wedding day. Yes, there are some Muslims who have arranged marriages, but it is not the norm.
