Personal Information in Dating

The details to include in uploading a personal profile depend primarily on what the dating site requires. Name, birthday and age, gender and status, e-mail and sometimes postal addresses, nationality and bank account details are the must questions. Unless required by the site, any personal information to share with other members depends solely on you.
If you believe that the receiving person has earned your trust to share valuable information about yourself, then there is absolutely no problem. This is where the idea of self-evaluation comes to matter once more. If you plan to pursue a serious online relationship, giving away details of your life surely helps to determine compatibility and establish close emotional ties. Otherwise, keep personal information to yourself.
The necessity of posting photos is a recurring question in online dating. Some fear that his/her picture may either limit and/or determine the choices of members that may find him/her interesting. Others contend that posting photos only promotes superficiality- purely physical beauty, that is- in online dating. Despite these apprehensions, does it not remain better to have a face associated with a name?
